Both of A. & D. Munro Co. Shays were lettered with "MUNRO". Munro Tramway (name on official documents) was also referred to as: Munro's Tramway, Munro's Hampton Tramway, A. & D. Munro Tramway, and Munro's Hampton-Perseverance Tram. Illawarra Light RY Society Shay Project: (11-15-2000) The I.L.R.M.S. Ltd. has the remains of the two Munro Tramway Shays, 906 & 2097 as well as a few bogie parts from 2800 and other steam loco parts. The plan was to make an operational 2' gauge Shay, with most parts from sn-906. (2010) Project abounded. |
